Earning Points at Businesses

You can earn points by tapping your phone on a Yaalu NFC terminal at participating businesses. Terminals are located at the checkout counter.

How It Works

1. Look for the Yaalu NFC terminal at the checkout counter.
2. After your purchase, hold your phone near the terminal.
3. A confirmation screen appears showing the business name, purchase amount, and points you'll earn.
4. Tap Confirm to accept the points.
5. Points are credited to your wallet immediately.

What You'll Earn

The number of points depends on your purchase amount and the business's rewards rate. The more you spend, the more you earn.

Some businesses offer Yaalu Points (usable anywhere), while others offer their own Business Points (exclusive to that business). The confirmation screen shows which type you're earning. See Business Points for a full breakdown.

Tips

• Make sure NFC is enabled on your phone.
• Hold your phone close to the terminal — within a few centimetres.
• Wait for the confirmation screen before moving your phone away.
• If the tap doesn't register, try again — hold your phone steady for a moment.
